The Sunshine State lived up to its name on the beautiful wedding day for Megan and Chris. The deep coral bridesmaid dresses along with the various shades of pink and yellow roses in the bouquets and centerpieces added to the bright, spring time feel.

These wonderful photos, shot by the talented Becka and Nate of Studio 222 Photography, really capture the essence of this fun-loving couple.

Megan looked absolutely gorgeous in her Marisa wedding dress and the picture of Chris’ face is priceless when he first catches a glimpse of his bride walking down the aisle.

Take miles of aqua blue water and ocean breezes drifting through palm trees, add in lovers lounging in hammocks and a clear blue sky, and you’ve got the ingredients for one fabulous Florida Wedding!!

Jenn Hopkins of Jenn Hopkins Photography shot Taylor and James’s amazing Florida Keys Wedding. The Keys showcase the idyllic Florida lifestyle; what better place to have a wedding!

Taylor and James make a gorgeous couple, and they used such fun details in their wedding. I LOVE the pink and green color scheme featuring one of my favorite flowers: green cymbidium orchids! They also incorporated starfish into many of their details — the cupcake cake is adorable! After their ceremony, Taylor and James partied the night away under a tiki roof adorned with paper lanterns. This wedding makes me ready for a vacation!

Ceremony & Reception: La Siesta Resort, Islamorada
Make-Up and Hair: KiKi’s Spa and Salon

When most people hear “Florida,” they either think beaches or Disney. While those are two of the many awesome things about Florida, we’re also known for our golf courses, and big beautiful trees dripping with Spanish Moss. This adorable wedding features both! We are so happy to showcase Elizabeth and Jeff’s Sarasota wedding shot by wonderful photographer, Scarlett Lillian! Scarlett did a great job incorporating the golf location into the shots, and there are some stunning images featuring the Spanish Moss!

This wedding also has some adorable details. We love how the bride used hot pink as her accent color with the shoes, bridesmaid bouquets, and the beautiful roses on her cake. It was also such a creative and original idea to use movie titles like Sweet Home Alabama and Something’s Gotta Give on the place cards at each table. Congrats, Elizabeth and Jeff — your wedding was obviously such a sweet celebration of your love!

We were delighted when we came across this wedding, shot by one of our favorite photographers, Corinna Hoffman! Candace and Zach are an adorable couple that chose to have their wedding in Jacksonville Beach. Corinna did an amazing job capturing so many of the fun details of this wedding. We love how Candace and Zach incorporated their favorite football team, the Indianapolis Colts, into their wedding! And the bridesmaid dresses are absolutely stunning - Candace chose a beautiful sapphire blue color. She took the traditional “Something Blue” and gave it a modern twist by personalizing her garter with blue ribbon and the Colts emblem. We also loved the elegant carriage horse they chose to use as part of their wedding day.

Congrats Jess and Blake from the Florida Bride’s Blog team!

Jennyfer Mancino: Wow, Chad is unbelievably talented! BTW, we didn't know about this blog post in time, but wanted to mention that we made the iPhone cake.... its one of our favorite grooms cakes because its HYPER customized. The apps were taken from the grooms exact screen. Best of luck to the happy couple!

Jessica Steck: Yes! I snuck a picture of Blake's phone screen--which was so hard because he carries it with him at all times!--so the iPhone groom's cake matched his phone down to the last detail. It was Oct. 3 and he had 1 e-mail. I'm guessing it was from me :)

kelley: wait a minute..., these shots are phenomenal!!! the one's with the bride and her maids in the room with the paintings are really out of this world!

Nicole-Lynn: Great wedding! Love the details and they had great photographer :)

It seems that the creative bar for engagement sessions is continually being pushed further and further as many couples try to plan a shoot that truly showcases their relationship.

Kim and Michael’s engagement session with sweet photographer Corinna Hoffman was no exception. This adorable couple had originally planned an outdoor shoot, as many couples choose, but due to some severe weather, decided to relocate their shoot to the home of Kim’s parents (which is gorgeous by the way!)

Corinna’s creativity really came through in this shoot, and Kim and Michael obviously had a blast participating in all the fun poses and scenes.

We absolutely love the shots where they are making Valentine’s, and the baking scenes in the kitchen!

They did get a tiny weather break and managed to capture some outdoor shots as well.

Enjoy!

Corinna Hoffman: Thank you SO much for featuring Kim and Michael's fun engagement session!! :-D

So, I don’t know how I’ve been a Florida girl almost my whole life, and I still haven’t made it down to visit the Florida keys!
Well, these pictures have renewed again my desire to visit this gorgeous part of our state!

Many couples have discovered the beauty of the Florida Keys, and Jade and Aaron were no different. This Alabama couple’s lovely Marathon, FL wedding was shot by Becka and Nate of Studio 222 Photography. The location, the couple, the details, all of it is just beautiful. We love Jade’s stunning bouquet of white roses, white mini callas, and hypericum berries. The girls spiced things up with their orange bouquets, and we love the orange mokara orchids for a tropical feel.

What a beautiful setting and celebration: Jade and Aaron, we wish you all the best in your marriage!

Nicole-Lynn: Beautiful couple. I remember seeing their engagement pics on the photographer's website.

I was so excited when photographer Jess Cumbie told me about these photos. The photos are fantastic of course, but even more than that, I love what they showcase. This is such a simple, sweet wedding, and it goes to show you that an elaborate, expensive production is not necessary for wedding gorgeousness. This adorable, fun-loving couple chose a Disney wedding ceremony in front of a handful of close family and friends. They didn’t have a traditional reception. But they did have some fun details, and they took the time to get some amazing pictures with Jess!

Take a peek!

daniel lateulade: love that first bridal shot!

Nicole-Lynn: What an adorable bride! She looks like a doll :)

Teresa and Nelson had such a beautiful wedding day, and it was all captured by the fabulous Scarlett Lillian. Teresa is such a chic bride, and we love all the amazing details she incorporated throughout the day. Her funky color scheme of bright green paired with modern black and white is perfect for the modern Florida bride. And her amazing Manolo Blahnik heels are to die for! Teresa chose her wedding venue as St. Augustine, Florida’s Casa Monica Hotel, and the ceremony was held in the stunning Sultan’s Pavilion, complete with lavish draping and accented with black chandeliers. With such a stylish bride and such fun details, we knew this was a wedding for the Florida Bride’s Blog readers! Enjoy!

Florida Bride’s Blog Vendor Corinna Hoffman sent us these fun fall wedding images.

Stephanie and John were married in October and had some gorgeous fall colors. We still can’t get over the DIY flowers that the bride and her family made, and the fact that the mother of the bride made the wedding cake!

Fun Fact: Another Florida Bride’s Blog Vendor, Stephanie Lynn, was a bridesmaid in this wedding!

When I saw this adorable session by Dana Goodson, I just knew I had to share it!!

Between an amazingly hot couple (Jenn and Adam), three outfit changes, and multiple funky Atlantic Beach locations, this shoot is brimming with fun, originality, and sexiness!

Dana Goodson did an awesome job with this session, and Jenn and Adam showed so much personality and love. While they did end with some “traditional” shots on the beach, other locations include Pete’s (a local dive bar), a cigar shop, and the gorgeous One Ocean Hotel.

Enjoy!

Rima: Oh wow this is gorgeous!

Laura Burlton: Wow, those are awesome!! Her eyes are gorgeous! Curious, what is in the fountain?

Adina: The fountain was supposed to be strictly champagne...but I guess the bartender made it a mimosa fountain. It created a bit of an issue though. The lines got clogged, so i don't recommend using anything with pulp.

Nancy: Beautiful photos, fun wedding, advertising for you! Good Job Dana

Dana Goodson Photography: Thanks everyone!!! This was really exciting to be featured on such a cool blog. And thanks to Danielle for asking to use my images, it's an honor. :o) Oh, and one more thanks to Adina and Rudy for being such a cool couple to photograph. ;o)
